This place you'll love regardless. It has a good variety of difficult and easy runs. Every year the powder is outstanding! This is the place to go if your anywhere from an expert to a begginer in snow sports. If you come with your family its great to.Everyone is friendly and willing to help you out with anything you need. If you catch yourself in south idaho you might want to check this place out. You'll love it. Its a great place for skiers or borders. Check it out!!!

I purchased a season pass to Pomerelle this year. I would like to use it, but they seem to be closed every other day. Today for instance, there is no new snow and 15mph winds, and for some reason they can't get a plow on their road to open the resort. That is rediculous. 15mph winds are seen at every other resort in the world every day and they do not close, they plow the roads and get skiers in. Pomerelle needs to get competent ownership because the current one doesn't seem to know how to run a successful resort. My advice would be to wait until that happens to buy a pass, otherwise you may never be able to use it.

I love this resort. The snow is great. I have a 4 year old daughter who has been skiing here for a year. The instructors are great with her...so much so that she convinces me to get her a lesson almost every trip which is fairly affordable at $40 for an hour. I have taken her to other resorts in the area, but she always insists on going to "her" mountain because everyone makes her feel so comfortable and at home. If you have a small child this is a great resort.

I am going to try out the women's ski event this month... (4) full day passes, (4) 1 1/2 hour group classes and lunch... all on Tuesdays for $85. I'll post on it after I have completed it.

Terrific family skiing! Excellent for beginners as well as experienced skiers. REALLY affordable. What makes Pomerelle so great is the staff. Rustic. Not hoity-toity lodge. Food needs improvement. Would love to see more really hearty, TASTY soups and stews, and a microwave in the lodge. Instruction is friendly and professional for beginners. Kids do great at Pomerelle. All in all a dependable, friendly, under-crowded place to ski with ease.

The powder every year is great. Most runs are fairly easy to ride. Some jumps and rails. If u like to do tricks, and end up crashing every time you catch huge air. Then Pomerelle would have to be the best choice for ski and snowboarders that love tons of poweder to fall into.

Pomerelle does a very good job of keeping thier snow groomed, and by the end of each season usually has a small terrain park with a couple of rails and a decent sized big air at the end. The mountain is rather small, with only two lifts on the mountain and a magic carpet on the bunny hill. They do recieve plenty of snow to cover obstacles and it is usually dry pow. If you want to go somewhere in the area and do not want to pay a world class price for a resort like Sun Valley, this is the place to go.

Great Family resort. Experienced instructors are great with kids. Limited vertical is made up by no lift lines and legs still burnig by the end of the day. The Mountain is highly groomed, but there is great tree skiing. This resort gets huge amounts of snow, the most in Idaho, often snow totals here are equivelant to Utah resorts three hours south.

Pomerelle is by far the best resort in our area. It always seems to get the most snow and has well groomed runs. The staff are friendly and helpful. I usually take my family and the night skiing lift rates are very reasonable. This is a great resort and worth the drive!

drove to Pomerelle on Wednesday on dry roads. If you are approaching from the south you have to know where you are going because there are NO SIGNS whatsoever until you get to the final turnoff ( after going through the ranch crossroads of Malta through smelly cow pastures, past more dead cats than I have ever seen per square mile). Finally there's a sign for Pomerelle Ski Area at a "T" intersection. Conditions at the turnoff were 44 degrees and partly cloudy. appprox. 8 miles up a curvy mountain road we arrived at Pomerelle in a full-on snow storm. Skied for two hours in a raging storm. There must have been at least 20 other people there. The snow was piling up and we found lots of good tree skiing with very creamy conditions on the groomed slopes covered with 2-3" of new. The next morning they were reporting 14" of new. We were wondering how you could ski through that much with so little vertical.
