hyland is small, but much better than buck. good park and a nice place to be. The lifties are the best at any place ive skied. They keep the line moving even at the busiest lift with all the kids.

PEople who wrote a review before dont understand how hyland can be so great. I go there almost everyday in the winter its one of the best places.
If u go there once u might not like it but u learn to love it.

Its a awesome place to go.

The terrain park was rated one of the best in the midwest.

Try going again.

You will like it.

Small. Very small. They've got a good ski school, and it's a great place for a novice or a park rat. But when it comes down to it, I'd drive the extra 10 minutes to get to Buck or the extra hour and go to Welch.

Hyland ski area has an excellent terrain park that can be enjoyed by both skiers like my daughter and boarders like my son. They have one of the best ski schools in the midwest that we took lessons from.

If you're a skier, this ski area is an absolute joke. 35 acres. Each run is maybe 10 seconds long. Long lift lines.

If you're a snowboarder, you'll probably have fun, as there are thousands of snowboarding punks here every day.
