Old School New England

Pros: Close, quaint, friendly... good ice practice

Contras: Lacks vertical, lacks grooming, lacks glades...

You don't go to Catamount for glitz and glamour... it's an old school New England ski resort that doesn't put on airs. It's smallish... who needs a ski dro... Opinión completa

Challenging For a Small Mountain

Pros: small parking lot=short liftlines, Bump runs, Catapult

Contras: Small lodge, lifts are far apart at base, summit intermediates

Pros: People, scenary, Great Barrington, instructors, trails, steep

Contras: small, steep, not all runs always open

Pros: No lift line, groomed, friendly

Contras: No moguls, beginner slopes are flat in spots
