Vista general

La estación de esquí de Hintertux se define como un paraíso de nieve abierto los 365 días del año gracias a su glaciar. El glaciar de Hintertux se encuentra situado a 80 kilómetros de la ciudad de Innsbruck (aproximadamente 1 hora en coche) y es fácilmente accesible por carretera, con dos parkings, uno exterior junto a la base de la estación y otro subterráneo desde el que podemos acceder directamente hasta la zona más alta del glaciar situada a 3250 metros de altitud. El dominio esquiable se encuentra situado entre los 1500 y los 3250 metros. La estación cuenta con 86 km de pistas (7 azules/23 km, 8 rojas/47 km, 3 negras y 5 itinerarios/16 km) que en verano quedan reducidos a 20 km situados entre los 2550 y los 3250. Hintertux cuenta con un moderno sistema de transporte formado por 22 remontes: 1 teleférico, 2 telecabinas bicable, 2 telecabinas, 6 telesillas, y 11 telearrastres. El glaciar de Hintertux tiene un moderno Snowpark –Betterpark Hintertux- que permanece abierto durante el verano. El descenso más famoso, Gefrorene Wand ofrece a los esquiadores 12 km de pista hasta el fondo del valle.
